The home crowd had a good time watching the Victoria HarbourCats and New Orleans Baby Cakes get after it.

The New Orleans Baby Cakes scored a convincing win at Zephyr Field, defeating the Victoria HarbourCats, 12-1. One of the hitting stars was 24-year old catcher Cliff Williams who was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Oscar Spuck earned the win, while 23-year old right-handed pitcher Mattie Shelby took the loss for Victoria.

Max Fabio chipped in a 2-run home run for New Orleans in the bottom of the second. For the game, the right fielder had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.

"Nothing to write home about," Victoria manager Ricky Ugalde said, when asked afterward about the game.

With the win, New Orleans has a record of 24-25. Victoria falls to 26-23.
