Sounds Top HarbourCats, 5-4
Victoria got a big-time effort from pitcher Ben Gaetz, but it wasn't enough to keep the Nashville Sounds from winning the game, 5-4. Gaetz threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Nashville reliever Dan Bower picked up the win, upping his record to 3-0. Jhonny Guevara was saddled with the loss. With this game in the books, Nashville is 27-25, Victoria 26-26.

The game ended with a bang. In the bottom of the 14th, with Nashville trailing 4-3, Vicente Prieto jumped on a 0-1 curveball from Jhonny Guevara for a 2-run home run, sending the Sounds to a walk-off win.

"What a great win for our team," said a jubilant Darius Hogan, the Nashville manager.
