In a low-scoring contest between the Omaha Storm Chasers and the Round Rock Express, Vince Hall was the X factor. The Omaha right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. The winner was Hall. He threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. The loser was Brannigan Fry. The 6th-place Storm Chasers go to 23-26.

Omaha took advantage of an error in the bottom of the sixth inning. The game was tied, 1-1, when Monk Munoz hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put the Storm Chasers in front, 2-1.

"I was a little disappointed," said Round Rock manager Robin Fahy. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
