El Paso Beats Nashville, 5-2
|
Spirited fans greeted the Nashville Sounds for their clash with the El Paso Chihuahuas.
El Paso Chihuahuas starter Gus Baxter was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Nashville Sounds, 5-2. Tyler Livni earned save number 11.
It could have been a different outcome for El Paso, had it not been for Blas Gould, the 25-year old left fielder . Gould contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to put El Paso up, 1-0.
Gould said his team "played with focus and determination."
El Paso is now 24-29, Nashville 22-31.
