Inland Empire Makes It 6 Straight with 4-3 Win
Inland Empire starter Bronco Marques pitched well against the Iowa Cubs at Principal Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Adam Spellman picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 2-0. Johnny Lawson was tagged with the loss. The 66ers have now reeled off 6 straight wins.

Guy Robinson helped out the Inland Empire cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI.

"Bronco pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Inland Empire manager J.D. Fayson.
