The Tacoma Rainiers picked up a win at Dell Diamond, knocking off the Round Rock Express, 6-4. On the mound for Tacoma was right-hander Olo Salgado, who played a pivotal role in the win. The winner in relief was Asa Besson. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 3-1. Janito Ceita collected his 18th save.

Orion Van Court, the 22-year old first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Van Court contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the eighth inning to put Tacoma up, 3-2.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Salgado said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The Rainiers improved to 35-21.
