HarbourCats Sink Chihuahuas, 4-1
|
Victoria beat El Paso on the strength of starter Ben Gaetz's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. Lee Vincent was called on to finish, recording his 5th save. Their 29-28 record puts the HarbourCats 5th in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.
Yimaury Paz was a prime factor in the win for the HarbourCats. In the top of the third with one out, the 28-year old first baseman hit a run-scoring single. He was 1-5.
Paz told a Victoria News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
