Sidewinders Topple Storm Chasers, 14-4, as Steadman Shines
Tucson center fielder Jake Steadman helped his team beat the Omaha Storm Chasers, 14-4. Steadman, who is tied for 8th in the PCL in triples with 3, went 2 for 3 for the Sidewinders. Tucson pitcher Cristian Hamner got the win, upping his record to 2-2. Wyat Thompson got the loss. Their 28-29 record puts the Sidewinders 6th in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.

Abraham Whiteman hit a 2-run double off Wyat Thompson in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Sidewinders in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Whiteman had 3 singles, while going 4 for 5.

"We maximized our offense today," said Tucson skipper Mike Briggs. "That makes everyone's life easier."
