New Orleans starter Regis Colmenero kept the Oklahoma City offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Baby Cakes to a 6-1 win. Oklahoma City, at 41-18, has lost 4 straight.

Caden McKinley had a big 2-run double for the Baby Cakes in the top of the fifth inning. With New Orleans leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Maurício Bazan, who is tied for 4th in the PCL with a 1.07 WHIP, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Baby Cakes ahead, 3-0.

"Regis -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Baby Cakes manager Bobby Gomez. "He was the key to us winning."
