The home crowd had a good time watching the Sacramento River Cats and Honolulu ThunderSharks get after it.

The Honolulu ThunderSharks went home winners at Smith's Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Pokey Scott. Scott stifled the Sacramento River Cats, enabling Honolulu to grab the 6-0 win. Scott went 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 3 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 4-3.

The ThunderSharks got a big at-bat from right fielder Brian Calderon. For the game, Calderon was 2 for 5 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Honolulu a 2-0 lead.

"Win or lose, we always try to grind it out and stay even-keeled," Calderon said in reaction to the win.

Honolulu raised its record to 31-29 with the win.
