In a tight tilt between the Inland Empire 66ers and the El Paso Chihuahuas, Bronco Marques was the deciding factor. The Inland Empire right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Inland Empire pitcher Jovi O'Meara got the win. He's now 3-0. Elton Crouse was tagged with the loss. Jon Kilbarger closed it out for his 14th save.

Will Bowman drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Inland Empire. With one out and the game tied in the bottom of the sixth inning, Bowman had a clutch at-bat. Facing El Paso hurler Elton Crouse, he hit a sacrifice fly to give the 66ers a 3-2 lead.

Bowman said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
