Reno pitcher Victor Hayden did his part in helping his team beat the Albuquerque Isotopes, 2-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Gervino Cúper got credit for the save for Reno. It was his 2nd of the year. Reno goes to 20-39, Albuquerque to 26-33.

Reno third baseman Donato Santana landed a blow when he socked a solo home run in the bottom of the fourth. It was his 11th home run of the season. With it, the Aces took a 2-0 lead.
