ThunderSharks Win 9-6 Nail-Biter Versus Aces
|
Due in large part to right fielder Willie Warnock, the Honolulu ThunderSharks sunk the Reno Aces, 9-6. Warnock belted 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Honolulu pitcher George Runyan got the win. He's now 2-4. David Parilla was tagged with the loss. The ThunderSharks improved their record to 26-34 with the win over Reno.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Warnock hit a fastball from David Parilla for a 3-run home run. The ThunderSharks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said Warnock.
