Triplets Win with Late Heroics
The El Paso Chihuahuas could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Elton Crouse into a win. Instead, the Evansville Triplets prevailed, 6-5, in 12 innings. Crouse threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. Evansville reliever Urshulon Passial picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Jason Chamberlain was saddled with the loss. This win makes it 5 in a row for Evansville.

Evansville got a knockout punch from Ronnie Santos. The first baseman hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 12th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"To not win that game stings a little bit," said El Paso manager Sawyer Sandbach.
