The Omaha Storm Chasers picked up a win at River Cats Ballpark, defeating the Sacramento River Cats, 6-2. Starting pitcher Jonah Burton was an essential part of his team's success. Rod Carson snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. The Storm Chasers have a winning streak of 5 games.

It could have been a different outcome for Omaha, had it not been for Lucas Hansen, the 30-year old left fielder . Hansen contributed a 2-run single in the top of the sixth inning to put Omaha up, 2-1.
