Omaha left fielder Mark McCrery had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. McCrery was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once, even as Reno beat the Storm Chasers, 5-4. Reno sits in third place in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division at 35-31.

Webster Collins had a big 2-run home run for the Aces in the top of the sixth inning. With Reno leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 30-year old right-handed pitcher Alfonso Barbosa and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Aces on top, 5-2.

"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Omaha manager Tiernan Hayes. "The effort was great."
