Big Day for Gandy in 12-5 Triplets Win
The Evansville Triplets beat the Inland Empire 66ers, 12-5, at BB&T Stadium. Brayden Gandy, in particular, was impressive. He hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Evansville pitcher Gavin Flynn got the win. He's now 3-0. Jonathas Aguillon was tagged with the loss. With the win, Evansville pushed its record to 47-30.

In the bottom of the eighth, the Triplets grabbed the lead when Gandy hit his 10th home run of the season. The 2-run home run off Jonathas Aguillon made it 7-5, Evansville.

"We lit up the scoreboard," said Evansville manager Ryan McMullen.
