66ers Sting HarbourCats, 4-0
|
The Inland Empire 66ers beat the Victoria HarbourCats, 4-0, at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark. Inland Empire right fielder Graham Spassovic had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The first-place 66ers lifted their record to 46-31.
Inland Empire took a 3-0 lead on Spassovic's 8th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Andrew Cooper in the bottom of the sixth, propelled Inland Empire to the win.
"That's a solid team effort right there," said Spassovic. "Everyone's feeling positive after that win."
