Ruic Tames Aces, 1-0
|
Evansville Triplets starter K.C. Ruic pitched his team past the Reno Aces, 1-0. Fabio Heimer was credited with the save for Evansville, his 15th of the season. Evansville currently is in 7th place in the Pacific Coast League American Divison at 33-45.
The Aces had trouble solving Ruic, who surrendered no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Evansville skipper Mike McGarry.
