The El Paso Chihuahuas welcomed the Inland Empire 66ers to an night game at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark.

The El Paso Chihuahuas picked up a win at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark, knocking off the Inland Empire 66ers, 7-3. Starting pitcher Ezra Varney played a key role in the triumph. The second-place Chihuahuas have won 4 in a row.

El Paso used a well-timed hit by Adrian Laforgia to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Chihuahuas ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Laforgia.
