Sidewinders Suffer 12-2 Drubbing
The El Paso Chihuahuas easily defeated the Tucson Sidewinders, 12-2, at Southwest University park, with left fielder Crow Trottier a main contributor to the win. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 4 for El Paso. At 46-37, the Chihuahuas are currently third in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.

The Chihuahuas got a big hit from shortstop Bill Bentley. In the bottom of the sixth, Bentley pounded a 2-run double to right-center. His 8th double of the season put the Chihuahuas ahead, 5-2.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said El Paso manager Kelly Ury.
