The Round Rock Express called upon starter D.J. Argumedo, and he delivered, leading his team to victory over the Sacramento River Cats, 4-2. The loss makes Sacramento 50-34.
The Express got a big at-bat from designated hitter Everett McGowan. For the game, McGowan went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Round Rock a 4-2 lead.
"D.J. was pretty good at keeping their guys off-balance," said Round Rock manager Chris York.
