The Oklahoma City Wranglers got a stellar effort from pitcher Beau Peters, helping Oklahoma City score a win over the visiting Tacoma Rainiers, 6-2. The 8th-place Wranglers have a record of 36-52.

The Rainiers had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Wranglers going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old left fielder Garnet Leverson came to the plate. Leverson hit a 2-run double on a 1-1 fastball from Tacoma hurler Remington Lockard. It was Leverson's 4th double of the year.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Leverson told the Oklahoma City Times.
