In a tight tilt between the Oklahoma City Wranglers and the Edmonton Edge, Ivo Cordero was the deciding factor. The Oklahoma City right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Cordero got the win, improving to 6-6. He gave up 8 hits and walked 3 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The 8th-place Wranglers go to 38-48.

Oklahoma City designated hitter Mattis Buck helped the Wranglers go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the sixth inning. With the game tied, Buck hit a run-scoring single off Edmonton pitcher Laurencio Hedgspeth.

In comments to the Oklahoma City Observer, Cordero insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
