Dominant Performance by McCutcheon in Reno Win
|
Reno took on Inland Empire in front of a lively crowd.
The Reno Aces defeated the Inland Empire 66ers, 3-0, in Pacific Coast League action at Blues Stadium. Reno pitcher Samuel McCutcheon had a standout performance. Mancio Soto closed the game out for Reno, earning his 18th save.
McCutcheon worked his mojo for Reno. The hard-throwing right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
"Samuel was pounding the zone," said Reno manager Steve Kapp.
The 8th-place Aces now have a win-loss record of 39-52.
