The Honolulu ThunderSharks picked up a win at Smith's Ballpark, topping the Tucson Sidewinders, 6-4. On the mound for Honolulu was left-hander Dino Cortez. He played a principal role in the triumph. Honolulu has now won 3 straight, while the Sidewinders have lost 3 in a row.

Isaac Hackbarth hit a 2-run triple off Cason DelChiaro in the bottom of the eighth, which put the ThunderSharks in front, 5-3. Hackbarth had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 5.

"Dino kept his poise and got the job done," said Honolulu manager Neil Kuntz. "He was outstanding."
