Storm Chasers Earn 8-2 Win Versus Edmonton
Starting pitcher Rodney Luyster fulfilled his part of the bargain, helping the Omaha Storm Chasers stymie the Edmonton Edge, 8-2. The winner was Luyster. He threw 7.1 innings of 6-hit ball. The loser was Camden Coleman. The Storm Chasers go to 39-63 with the win.

Ernest Nelson had a big 3-run home run for the Storm Chasers in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Omaha leading 5-2 and runners on 1st and 3rd, he got a fastball from Liu Soto and swatted a home run to right. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Storm Chasers ahead, 8-2.
