The El Paso Chihuahuas racked up a win at Southwest University park, bumping off the Albuquerque Isotopes, 9-4. Elton Crouse, who started for El Paso, pitched effectively for his team. El Paso has a record of 43-60, placing them 8th in the Pacific Coast League Pacific Division.

Javonty Marshall had a big 2-run double for the Chihuahuas in the bottom of the fifth inning. With El Paso leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from 24-year old right-handed pitcher Max Rodriguez and swatted a double to center. It was his 18th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Chihuahuas ahead, 4-0.

"Elton was really on it," said El Paso manager Sawyer Sandbach. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
