Trash Pandas Handed 9-6 Loss by Scouts
|
Chattanooga second baseman Hee-Joon Gang contributed significantly to his team's 9-6 win over the Rocket City Trash Pandas. Gang went 3 for 3 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Scouts. Kaden Bauer, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings. With the win, Chattanooga raised its record to 55-50.
Neal Lasch had a big 2-run double for the Scouts in the bottom of the second inning. With Chattanooga leading 3-1 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Gene Sheridan and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 23rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scouts ahead, 5-1.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gang told the Chattanooga Herald.
