There was never a dull moment in an extra-length game between the Tulsa Drillers and the Midland RockHounds.

The Tulsa Drillers wiggled past the Midland RockHounds, 3-2, at Security Bank Ballpark. The win was highlighted by the performance of Tulsa pitcher Mel Graffanino. Roberto Gaxiola, who is tied for 9th in the SL in strikeouts with 94, earned the save for Tulsa.

Owen Fitzgerald had a direct impact on the outcome. Fitzgerald contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the tenth inning to put Tulsa up, 3-2.

"These kind of wins can be so good for a club's psyche," Tulsa manager Danny McLain said.

Tulsa is last in the Southern League Texas Division with a record of 39-67.
