Madison Drills 2 Homers in 10-6 New Orleans Win
The New Orleans Baby Cakes beat the Winnipeg Goldeyes, 10-6, at NBT Bank Stadium. New Orleans center fielder Paul Madison had an outstanding performance. He was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. New Orleans reliever Milton Adair picked up the win, upping his record to 6-1. Pierce Finlay absorbed the loss. New Orleans sits in third place in the Pacific Coast League American Divison at 60-49.

The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth. That's when Madison hit a 3-run home run off Pierce Finlay. It propelled the Baby Cakes into the lead, 5-2.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Madison.
