Omaha beat Winnipeg on the strength of starting pitcher Sanford Coley's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-0. Omaha took a 5-0 lead on Enrico Valencia's 1st home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Valencia hit in the top of the ninth, left Winnipeg pitcher Randell Maxwell visibly frustrated.
