The Inland Empire 66ers topped the Albuquerque Isotopes, 6-5, with first baseman Duncan Fry playing a big role. Fry went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the 66ers in the win. Inland Empire pitcher Jeremiah Black got the win, upping his record to 7-6. Ryder Gideon got the loss. The 66ers raised their record to 66-43.

Chris Lyons came through with a big-time hit for Inland Empire. The shortstop smacked a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Lyons told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
