Chihuahuas Beaten, 7-3, by Aces
|
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Reno Aces and El Paso Chihuahuas.
Reno right-hander Israel Goben pitched his team to victory over the El Paso Chihuahuas at Blues Stadium. The final score was 7-3. The Aces improved their record to 57-62 with the win over El Paso.
In the bottom of the fifth, Reno third baseman Kyle Côté had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and two out, Côté stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 3-1, Reno. For the game, he went 1 for 2, while adding 3 RBI.
"It makes it a little nicer in the clubhouse when we win," said Côté. "It eases the tension."
