|
El Paso starter Lucas Schott pitched well against the New Orleans Baby Cakes at Zephyr Field. The right-hander led his team to a win, 7-3. Schott picked up the win for El Paso, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 3 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-8. The Chihuahuas raised their record to 50-69.
El Paso used a well-timed hit by Ethan Radziszewski to capture the win. The first baseman socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Chihuahuas ahead, 4-2. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"Winning is not something we take for granted," Radziszewski said.
