The 5-3 Tacoma win over Honolulu was due largely to Julian Mucciolo. The Rainiers shortstop was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The winning pitcher was R.J. Torres. His record now stands at 4-7. The right-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits for the Rainiers. The third-place Rainiers sport a record of 68-54.
Rem Trigo had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the sixth for the Rainiers. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Tacoma trailing 3-2, he hit a 2-run single.
