Express center fielder Brody Atkin left his imprint on his team's 7-3 win over the Evansville Triplets. Atkin went 2 for 2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Round Rock in the contest. Round Rock is 67-60 and Evansville, with the loss, 77-50.
Atkin contributed in the bottom of the first. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, he hit a 2-run single. It was one at-bat among others that helped Round Rock get the win.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Atkin.
