Starting pitcher Iggy Canchola pitched well enough to help the Honolulu ThunderSharks beat the Reno Aces, 6-3. The 6th-place ThunderSharks bumped their record to 67-60.

Honolulu relied on the hitting of Graham Weber to pick up the win. The left fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the ThunderSharks on top, 2-0. For the game, Weber had 1 triple and 2 singles in 5 at-bats.

"We'll try to build on that win," Weber told the Honolulu Daily.
