RockHounds Snatch Late Win
|
This fight went fifteen rounds and the RockHounds came out the winner.
In a low-scoring contest, Midland pitcher T.J. Padamada was marvelous in his team's 3-1 win. The RockHounds now have a mark of 57-55.
Midland took a 3-1 lead on Seung Yun's 14th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Chattanooga pitcher Troy Theisen in the top of the 15th.
During his postgame press conference, RockHounds manager Edgar Mendoza told reporters that he expected a tight game from the get-go. "This had the potential to go down to the wire, and it certainly didn't disappoint," he said, later quipping, "it might've been a little less nerve-racking if I had been watching the game from my couch!"
