Rocket City Gets 8-3 Road Win
The Rocket City Trash Pandas picked up a win at Engineers Ballpark, dropping the Shreveport Engineers, 8-3. Gabriel Hernández, who is tied for 10th in the SL with a 1.26 WHIP, was the difference-maker. The Trash Pandas improved their record to 53-58 by beating Shreveport.

The Trash Pandas benefited from a costly error in the top of the ninth. With Brooks Morosini at bat and Rocket City leading 4-3, the Shreveport miscue allowed Rocket City to plate 1 and take the lead, 5-3.

"I'm happy we won," said Hernández. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
