The Montgomery Biscuits took Midland pitcher Aidan Phillips's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium. The final score had Montgomery getting past the RockHounds, 5-4. Phillips went 7.1 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 3. With the win, Montgomery has a record of 66-54. Midland falls to 62-58.

The Biscuits procured the win, in large part because of pinch hitter Eduard Pasichnychenko. In the bottom of the tenth, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.

"It's nice to come out on top today," said Pasichnychenko.
