Lawton was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the RockHounds. Ching Benjawan earned the save, his 2nd, for the RockHounds. The last-place Trash Pandas dropped to 50-68.

Rubio Ruiz could have done some damage in the top of the seventh. With Rocket City trailing 3-0, the Trash Pandas had runners on 1st and 2nd. But Ruiz struck out.
