Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Biscuits
Montgomery and Corpus Christi scratched and clawed until someone claimed the prize.

The Corpus Christi Hooks went down to defeat to Pat MacDonald and his Montgomery teammates. The final score was 2-0, Biscuits, in 11 innings. Montgomery pitcher Ryan Gordon got the win, upping his record to 3-7. Nicky Amaya got the loss.

Montgomery needed the clutch hitting of Julian Hacker to seal the deal. The center fielder swatted a 2-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Biscuits on top, 2-0. For the game, Hacker had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"Pat did a nice job," said Biscuits manager Hector Bonilla.

Montgomery now sports a record of 67-53.
