Downward Spiral Continues for Tennessee
The Tulsa Drillers grabbed a win, 7-5, over the Tennessee Smokies at Hammons Field. Tulsa third baseman Jason Ramone went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. Tulsa currently is in 4th place in the Southern League Texas Division at 59-60.

Tulsa first baseman Von Pinion said the only thing on his mind when he came to bat with a runner on 3rd in the bottom of the sixth was making good contact. He did that much, and more! Pinion hit a 2-run home run to stake Tulsa to a 6-4 lead. His 6th home run of the season came off Tennessee pitcher Max Holmes.

"We just can't get over the hump," said losing manager Kraig Fagan.
