The Shreveport Engineers topped the Tulsa Drillers, 7-2, in Southern League action at Engineers Ballpark. The game was highlighted by the performance of Shreveport pitcher Reilly Foley. Foley, now 6-4, was the winner. In 7.1 innings, he gave up 7 hits, while striking out 3, walking 0, and allowing 2 runs. The misery continues for the Drillers, who have now dropped 10 in a row.

Diego Marcelin took Tulsa hurler Lincoln Midgley deep in the bottom of the third. His 3-run home run put the Engineers on top, 5-2. In all, Marcelin had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"I want us to come out, have fun, hit some balls, and score. We're having a tough time," said Danny McLain, the Tulsa manager.
