The Biloxi Shuckers topped the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 4-1, in Southern League action at Biloxi Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Biloxi pitcher and Poteau, Oklahoma, native J.J. Long. The last-place Shuckers improved to 52-65.

The Shuckers got a big at-bat from center fielder Jax Noble. For the game, Noble was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Biloxi a 3-1 lead.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Noble told the Biloxi Bulletin.
