Due in large part to center fielder Webster Collins, the Tulsa Drillers sunk the San Antonio Missions, 9-4. Collins went 2-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. With the win, Tulsa has a record of 54-74. San Antonio falls to 61-67.

Luciano Hoekstra had a big bases-clearing double for the Drillers in the top of the fifth inning. With Tulsa leading 4-2 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Sohichiro Katayama and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 10th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Drillers ahead, 7-2.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Hoekstra.
