Engineers designated hitter Malcolm Tyler left his mark on his team's 9-5 win over the Arkansas Travelers. Tyler, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in extra base hits with 49, went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for Shreveport in the contest. The second-place Engineers now sit at 84-42.

Shreveport grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Tyler hit a 3-run home run off Colin Griner. His 20th home run of the season put the Engineers out in front, 7-5.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Tyler, "and then get after it again."
