|
Bill Huston left his imprint on the 5-3 Frisco win against the Shreveport Engineers. Huston went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. The win was credited to Rod Schofield in relief. His record improves to 13-3. Seth Wiggs took the loss. The third-place RoughRiders bumped their record to 66-66.
The RoughRiders got a big at-bat from designated hitter Ethan Miles. For the game, Miles went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 13th home run of the season gave Frisco a 3-0 lead.
