Mississippi shortstop Bray Brown had a 3-RBI game, which proved instrumental to his team beating the Rocket City Trash Pandas, 4-3. Brown picked up 2 singles and 1 double in the ballgame. William Neudeck, who is tied for 6th in the SL in innings pitched with 155.0, was the winner. He's now 9-11. The loser was Fernando Esteban. Rex Anderson locked down his 27th save.

Brown had a key at-bat for Mississippi in the bottom of the second. With the bases loaded, he hit a bases-clearing double. It was his 15th double of the season and gave Mississippi an early 3-0 lead.

"If we play well, we'll win our share of games," said Brown. "The only team that can beat us is us."

The Braves saw their win-loss record go to 73-59. At the same time, the Trash Pandas fell to 65-67.
